Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Pitiful.

That's what I'd describe the battery life on the 930. Turned it on at 7AM, got home at 7:30PM and was on 5%...with the last 30-mins on battery saver. Like the phone but this cannot be a backup to my Z3 under any circumstances. The battery life was just as useless under 8.1 too. Windows 10 was nice to use, but it made me yearn for the hardware announced for the MSFT flagship. If MSFT had done a mid ranger with the 805 chip on a 4.7" screen, I'd be all in.

Gonna get a Moto Maxx next month. Nothing else on the Android landscape is appealing enough to relegate my Z3 to back up duty.

Approved by Z3 Tablet Compact!

Coming to life beyond emulators. The one on the right is the Windows phone 8.1 version and the other is the Universal Windows Platform version.

Both eternally work in progress...

Even without the update, Movies & TV app worked for me except that it navigates like the Files app.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Ok where to start from this build. The first thing I did was upgrade to build 10512 from 10166 then hard reset so I could be in build 10512 on a clean phone .
On first look already I can see that this build is going to be worse than 10166. When swiping from the start page to all apps pages I can see that my phone was stuttering. I didn't get that from build 10166. No big deal I went to install my favorite news reader daily aha. Turns out that it doesn't work with this build. Not sure what that is all about . When I lock the phone I can tell that the lock screen time and notifications take around 2-3 seconds just to show up. There all seems to be a lot more resuming than the last build. Another thing sometimes the tiles don't have a picture after I unlock my phone they populate one by one at times. Though they did fix the notification bug. Where you would get a notification and the only way to clear it was to pull down the notification shade . Also word flow works Bette and smoother than the last build . Sometimes the apps don't resume and close and you have to relaunch the app. The store is as slow as always .
What I come away is that this build should of been build 10166 and build 10166 should of 10515. Seems like this build broke more stuff than it fixed :/

I share some of your observations. Daniel R said smooth... Ha ha.

App folders stopped working as soon as I created the first one.

My start screen is now a mess...

I'm trying Spotify, since I got the 3 months for $0.99 deal. So far I like Spotify much better than Groove. There is a good chance that I'll keep Spotify and cancel Groove when my Groove subscription expires.
