Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I paid about 2$ for Data a month.

600MB enough for me thanks to free WiFi offered by my carrier can easily be found.

And I had my own network at home

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

My plan is as follows:

?15/m direct debited
200 min for calls (I don't use the phone to talk that much)
Unlimited data
Unlimited texts
4GB hotspot
2000 mins for 3 to 3 calls

I get roaming in some countries with the same plan but the data is limited to maximum 25GB for the month.

I did find the data connection a bit unreliable in some countries as it's probably low priority but it still worked. :)

Isn't free roaming coming in the EU?

Not for another 2 to 3 years. The carries are still trying to fight it. Currently some carries offer free roaming in some countries and in general there has been a reduction in rates but is still garbage.

That doesn't surprise me. I hope it does happen and sooner than in 2-3 years.

IIRC, T-Mobile is the only carrier that offers free data for music streaming.

Edit:it is T-Mobile.

"Stop burning data when you stream music.

Stream unlimited music on your phone or tablet without burning your 4G LTE data. No overages, no data caps, just all the music you want from your favorite music services like Apple Music, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Rhapsody, and more.

See a list here*See a list here

We?re adding music services all the time. Check back to see if your favorite service is included.

Simple Choice customers get all this on our Data Strong? network without changing rate plans.

New to T-Mobile? Shop plans"

I was reading the OnePlus 2 review over at The Verge and came across this:
OnePlus 2 review | The Verge
"USB TYPE-C IS MORE OF A NUISANCE THAN A CONVENIENCE AT THIS POINT"
I wonder if the same person will have the same opinion in a month when the new iPhone is released!
What a dopehead!

There's three things in my mind that can help MS.

1) Have their flagship phones on all carriers and available unlocked - no exclusives
2) Get the damn OEM apps from developers. 3rd party are nice but that should be the option, not the solution
3) Price aggressively

Fail at any of those and W10 mobile will be in the same place it is this time next year.

Though having good hardware is important the bottom line their software needs to be dead on. That includes having the apps. Fancy gimicks like Continuum won't sell phones to the average Joe and Jane. They need even parity.

They won't price aggressively either. That's not in their DNA. As I said earlier, it feels like more of the same old $%&#. Don't get me wrong, Android and iOS have their issues too, but I don't think MSFT will do enough to have something that'll shake up all levels of the market.

I doubt Apple can pull that off now anyways these days...

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Straight Talk is a T-Mobile MVNO....
MVNO's don't offer the perks that regular carriers do. For example, I couldn't get a 30 GB/month LTE plan with mobile hotspot if I used Straight Talk AT&T SIM rather than regular AT&T.

Very simply, the G Flex 2 launched in Feb 2015 still slays the Oneplus Two. SMH. And is still $70 cheaper than the 64GB model and about same price for the 16GB model. And this is the G Flex 2 32GB/3GB RAM model I'm talking about. You can find the 16GB/2GB RAM model for cheaper if you want...

How does the camera stack up? Is it easy to run CM12s on it?

It's the G3's camera in the G Flex 2.

Dev support from what I'm seeing is small, but gonna run it as is. Heard it runs nicer now with 5.1.1.

You're welcome to try it out and send it back if you cover shipping costs...
