Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

No phone or Tablet. Seems so hard to be without a device it almost seems scary. The longest I've been without anything was 3 days . That felt long

Go backpacking in the Sierras for a week and you won't need or by the end of the trip, you won't miss the gadgets.

I can ramble about almost anything . To see what I mean when I see the word ramble I think of Raman :3 I haven't had real ramen in a while .

While rambling you tend to stumble as well😁

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I'm going to go on a stretch where I'm using the maxx as my daily driver to really out it through its paces. As much as I like it so far, I think 6.0 or even 5.1 at this point will make very good battery life even better.

I've also been more aggressive with the apps I've installed...tried to limit the personal bloat.

Marshmallow has really great battery life. On the other hand you can get the new Moto G, 7+ hours of SOT☺

I'm also debating about upgrading my smartband. As gimmicky as the heart rate monitor is, I'd like to have it. But at this point, it isn't enough to justify spending the $130+ to get the Sony one.

We all know you are a Sony ****=, no filter, I typed it that way...

New update for the Z3.... not entirely sure what it has as I can't check websites that tell me.. stupid work internet...

From what little I could find, the battery has been fixed, settings have slightly changed and something with NFC. Possible camera fixes. Seems faster... :p

I'm sorry to hear that.

Hopefully it'll go better than expected.

Thanks but I doubt it. I feel like many, many Americans out there who like parts of their job but would leave if another opportunity presents itself.

With your myriad of phones... How come you didn't lend her a phone ? o_O

She's on Verizon, that's why. Her sister said the same thing. If she was on T-Mobile, I'd have loaned her my Moto Maxx.

I'm still waiting for my Moto X Pure Edition to get built.

I hope it's worth the wait. From what I've seen, it looks to be a good phone...but I don't think it is much better than the Maxx I have, which is why I didn't try for one.

I'm thinking you are going to say the Moto Maxx is going to be your daily driver. Since you had nothing but good things to say about it ;)

It checks all the boxes for me. The only thing I need is Moto not to forget about it and update the damn thing. I know the Indian models have 5.1, and I've seen some others with it. I'll install root checker later, but I don't think it is rooted.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Maybe you get a promotion and fire that one co worker your not very fond of ;)

There's no promotion opportunities in my job function at work. That's the negative of working in a specialized role is a place that requires specialists.

And for the record, it's my current supervisor who is very unappealing to me. I did a double take at 99's comment, so I decided to be nice and reply to this one instead of his. I'm indifferent about my new coworkers...not that they're bad people or that I'm still hung up on the old ones (although I do miss them... that's what happens when you work with people for years). They're just new, drinking the koolaid and trying to make a name for themselves...nothing wrong with that I suppose...but that doesn't get you as far at the workplace as people may think.

Screen on time isn't as important to me these days as it used to be. Just get me through 2 days of mixed usage between charges. The Z3 used to do that. The Maxx does that now.
