So, yes, buying a house was the big reveal. It's been very stressful for various reasons and we just agreed to the sale today after lots of back and fourth.

So we're moving a bit further away from London but still reasonably close. But we're going to be near the coast now.

So it's all good. Lots of work ahead.

All going well it will be mid January.

There's some work the owner has to do and we haven't been told how long it will take. Then we have some work to do prior to moving in.

It could be pushed out to February and that's fine as well. We're sort of lucky as the house is empty. I've known people who waited many months to get in their house because the owners haven't found a new house yet.

Even though ours was frustrating during the whole process for various reasons, we're getting off easy.

We know were lucky in that way. Just wish the rest of the process and dealing with people would have been easier.
