There are tons of Nat Geo and History documentaries about Hitler, his rise and fall. I think i watched 90% of them, it's fascinating how both smart and sick person he was.

Did you know his doctor medicated him with stuff like meth and bulgarian peasant's feces?

I think I knew about the meth but didn't know that second one.

What's interesting is that he was one of those 'what ifs'. He came close to being killed in the first world war. Imagine that.

In my opinion, the leaders at the time decided that of the two monsters (the guy in charge of Germany and the guy in charge of the USSR), the Russian was the better one to deal with. Maybe they were right...the Russian guy was too busy killing his own people to be bothered with taking over the world like the German guy was.

But I'll tell you what - the Jews at the time in Germany or the USSR were never fans of either cretin...combined, they killed enough Jews to make your head spin.

Yup, and not the bravest one too. His only friend was his dog, how sad was that.

Another interesting fact.
Altough he hated jews and killed so many of them he couldn't and never wanted to prove that he hadn't jewish blood, since that was a must if you wanted to join the Nazi party.

Another one would have maybe emerged...maybe more brutal than him. Who knows...some of the greatest advancement made in human history have come after unspeakable atrocities. I do not know if things would be better or worse, so I cannot speculate there.

Dude was Austrian, not German. Dude was brown haired, brown eyes...not that blonde hair, blue eyes idealistic crap he was spewing at the time too. Didn't like blacks either, they were on the list after wasting the Jews.

What can you say...I personally won't call his name, because I don't like the atrocities he committed, not the legacy left for the horrid skinheads who live in the US who are quick to kill a Jew or a Black/Latino if they could legally get away with it...

I would never try to justify Stalin and his actions but you really can't throw these two in the same box.

Hitler wanted to annihilate jews, gipsies and practilcly everyone other but Germans and Slavens (Slavens would be his slaves of course).

At a certain point he would start killng Germans to, leaving only aryans, the perfect ones.

To me, that's much more sick than locking people in Siberia and spreading communism.

Stalin was all about keeping power. Typically dictator. Kill all those who oppose you. Make sure the populace believes in only one person, you, etc...

Most people don't realise that places that are ruled by dictators are very religious, just a new type of one.

Dude, no offense but I didn't realise we were in the business of cherry picking the type of monsters we were currently living with. Guess your line of talk was similar as to what happened back then amongst FDR and Churchill. The USSR dude didn't care because he was busy killing off folks in his own land...how is that different from what the German guy was doing? The German guy knew he had to deal with the Russian guy at some point...which was why he was trying so hard to knock the British out early in the war, so he could secure his Western flank and focus on the Russians. The best thing the German guy did was invade Russia...rally the Russians to fight for their country FIRST, not the guy in charge at the time...and if you think the Russian soldiers were kind to the Joe average Germany solider at the time, I've got the deed for the Thames River to sell you at a discount...

We had to great evils around on Europe at the same time. I don't know if picking the lesser of the two was the best decision, but it was made.

Corsica guy was Napolean and the second one was Hitler.

Erwin Rommel, one of his greatest generals attempted to assassinate him, he was later killed at his home along with his wife and kids.

Hitler and Stalin were allies at the begging of the war, they split Poland betwen each other and Staling supplie him with coal and other materials.

Invading Rusaia was actually the worst tactical decision he had ever made.
He went there in June/July, and slowly advanced into the heart of Russia when a winter cought them unprepared.
Basicaly, Russians were just retrieving themself deeper into the country burning everyhing behind them, and that strategy killled more Germans than their guns did.

For the previous post, as i said, no of them was good, but still they're not on the same level of madness.

That's true, socialist philosophy is very nobel indeed. Same rights for everyone no matter your skin colour, religion etc. But, as we all know, that's just a bit impossible to achieve.

My contry was once part of the socialist society, and i assure you it was nothing like one in Russia or Hungary.
As a matter fact our president had a good relationship with Churchill.

It is just that there was a lot of evil running amok those days. With dictators in Germany, Russia, Italy, and Japan - China in civil war until the Japanese came in there - things certainly looked touch and go from a global perspective.
