I applaud Sony for going to the 5" mark for their new X lineup. Here are my issues though:
1) Too overpriced, as usual.
2) No new standout features. I get the move to an aluminum back, but if they had kept the glass and added in Qi like on the Z3V, that's a nice touch.
3) They cut too much. Didn't like the idea of paying an extra $150 for a better processor and water resistance. Don't like the idea of cutting 4K video recording, but all the cameras from the Z2-Z5 showed Sony didn't set this up well anyways.
4) Camera is still OK, but not up to snuff. No OIS. Processing software has the stills and videos a little more blown out than needed.

My short list includes the G5, Z5, HTC 10 and the X Force (if i can find one at a reasonable price). I really want to try the X Performance, but that'd be next year once the price gets acceptable. As pure all rounders, the X Force and the HTC 10 are the top two. As a phone I'd definitely use on the cheap would be the G5.

Yup, though we've been really lucky for the last couple of seasons. We haven't really had any major hurricanes come around this way (knock on wood!)

Central a.c..went out totally. Need a new unit. $4100. Bought 2 15,000 btu window units for $500 to tied us over for a week. Worst time too, heat wave rolling in. 95,97,98,98,98 the next 5 days.
Thank god there's only 8mos left in this hole before we move back home to Colorado. Have a great day all.
