Now, I valued my own space. And in some cases when I was apartment hunting in the city they were asking for essentially 55% of my monthly expenses upfront. So when I got my apartment I had to sacrifice 4 hours of each day just to have access to a bit more of my income. The point is in sharing all this just to say it's important to know what you're willing to work through and improving your lot is essential.

Being an adult sucks sometimes.

I've been sacrificing 2 1/2 hours for the house. Now it's a burden rather than something useful.

Just for the record this house was always meant as stepping stone.

Yeah being adult does suck.

I should learn not to say much when I'm still waking up... it's 2 1/2hrs.

I'm looking at the very real possibility of downsizing and giving up my apartment within the next two months until my employment changes.

I'm starting to wonder if this is just normal or something to get 1%.

Where I am, we only get a small raise to account for cost of living. Nothing more.

The cost of living here has been about 1-2℅ increase on a yearly basis.

However, this year it's going to be more. The devaluation of the pound (10-15℅) has already made things more expensive. At this point in time lots of places are eating the costs but I think that will soon stop.

It's going to be an interesting two years...

My X Compact is on the truck for delivery!

Now if the day can zoom by, that would be nice.

I hate that I had this phone once and I can't remember anything about it, aside from how it feels in the hand and my contacts issue. I told my brother about my phone purchase (he's the only one who cares really) and he wasn't mad at me. He totally understands my need to try it and compare.

No Man's Sky getting the "Path Finder" update this week! They're adding some sort of vehicle (space buggy) to get around in yaaaay!!! And hopefully some new building tools/parts.

I had no idea it was so difficult for a Canadian to get UK citizenship. I was under the impression that the EU status mattered less if one was a citizen of a Commonwealth nation. This is more complicated and sucks a lot more than I possibly thought.

I just can't ******* believe it. Barcelona lost their first game 4:0, and got another goal in their net in this second game, that means they had to win 6:1, 6 to freaking one. And the opponent was a one of the Europe's best, French PSG.

They're already calling the game as one of the best of this season, but it was one of the fillthiest I've seen. I completely lost respect for Barcelona. It's full of posers and actors, and that's how they got two of their goals. And don't get me started on them being favourited by referees.

And also PSG came to Barcelona as they were going to a holiday. Missed three 100% chances.
