That's dead and gone...they won't put it back.
that is not something that I think is consumer friendly. I have heard or seen a valid reason from any oem that justifies them removing the headphone jack or Than a money grab to buy dongles from said oem.

I think as long as we get protriety dongles from HTC(even though they have great audio)and like minded oems there will be a half built audio standard. it bothers me when peeps say it's the future =/"
Google unfortunately has to set the standard, and they haven't yet for audio.
