Been quite a week!!
My team is through to the Champions League finals.
Been waiting for no.6 this since 2005.. Has been a heck of a ride and amazing goal fest.

Morning crew! (Well, it’s morning here on the east coast U.S. anyway)

Tomorrow’s the big day! Finally closing on my home purchase. It’s been a long time coming and a lot of hard work, but in a little over 24 hours from now, I’ll be a home owner!

Another good thing is that the appraisal came back $12k over what I’m buying the house for. So I’m starting out with a good bit of instant equity.

Once everything settles and all, I’m thinking it may be time for a new set of wheels...

The 2018 Challengers are speaking to me. Going to need at least the R/T, if not the 392 Scat Pack. These cars are drop dead sexy!

What a day.
Went back to the nice little twin islands of Mataking, off Semporna.. the last time was back in 2008....
Glad there are places to go and things to do that don't cost an arm and a leg.... just a nice sizzling sun tan!!

No complains about the quality of the 950XL. Some of the shots came out brilliantly. Some was blurred as I had smudged the lens and had no dry towel/cloth to clean it up.
The battery could not last 6 hours. It always happens when the cell signal is weak and erratic. Thankfully I bought a spare...
Oh yeah, the screen readability absolutely sucks in such bright sunlight. On numerous occassion, I could not see any thing on the screen... I was shooting blind and using the edges of the phone to get it in line with the horizon...
Live and learn, I guess...

Wow those shots of water look so unreal .

It was a brilliant time.. and done quite cheaply.
There were ten of us, we rented the speedboat for the entire day for less than US$180. Its a long 38km ride from the coastal town of Semporna to Mataking island....

Part of the island is run by a big resort which is quite expensive. We just had our fun for free on the public beaches.. goggles & flippers was optional, for additional US$3/-...

The whole area has an amazing cluster of islands (including the quite famous Sipadan) ... a paradise destination for divers

Today I get to cross one thing off my list I have been putting off with no good reason - taking the boat over to Richmond County (bonus points to whomever replies to this knows where I'm talking about). My friend I have the annual birthday lunch lives over there, but I just hadn't made the time.

Still, it's a business trip today. I will post some pictures from the boat though to test the Pixel out some more.

Well it's getting to be that time of year...Fleet Week. Working girls are the ones most excited for the folks in untiform (sorry Laura). Personally, I was bummed when it got cancelled a few years ago.
