Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Quick update.
Battery life has improved.
4hr 32 min SOT and 36% left in the tank.
The phone has been off the charger 15.5 hours.
And I am beginning to like the Adaptive Brightness. I think Google has made the right choices with Android 9.0. Now only if they had picked a better name...

I don't blame you since msft has that America first mentallity
It's not that really it's just that I'm not paying attention to anything Microsoft at the moment.

I have no clue what they're up to anymore and sort of don't care really. So long as I can keep using Windows on my PC I'm happy. I don't need much else.

I'm not following tech much at the moment. That will change in the future but for now I simply don't care.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Eh, I've been doing alright, decided to crank out some new tech, got a convention to go to in February in Paris. Now just waiting for apps to be supported with the Surface Dial, and waiting for a Surface Monitor (seriously, the Surface Studio looks amazing, but for the love of Guthix just let me use that gorgeous screen with my custom-build desktop PLEASE). I'm also looking at Wacom Cintiq alternatives atm, trying to find something budget friendly, but not sure what to go for.

Starting classes soon with Specialist Autism Services as well to improve my communication skills, and will also be looking into starting up cooking classes in a month or so, so that way I can become a little bit more independent. Can't wait to see things improve for me. Also taking some free cycling lessons provided by the council to help me be able to cycle to these classes and avoid the outrageous bus fares.
Sounds like a lot of positives.

Paris is nice any time of year.

I wish I could code. Still considering doing a course and of course practicing. Just not much time at the moment.

There is an international public speaking group called Toastmasters. They're really good at helping boost people's ability and confidence to speak in public. They have local groups all over the world.

Problem is it's a membership kind of thing. I don't recall how much but it wasn't excessively pricey. Something to consider maybe?

Yeah, I'm kinda nervous about Paris, I won't lie. As for coding, I am very much a greenhorn at it, will be completely honest with you. But, it's quite interesting and have got some projects on the go. As for the confidence in public, one of the classes I'm doing with Specialist Autism Services is drama and theatre, and they're often doing performances in front of huge audiences (often doing them in theatres in the city, but I believe they sometimes travel to do them all over England too, welp), and as for my ability to communicate properly, that's what the other class at SAS is for. So yeah, while the mention of Toastmasters is definitely interesting, I'd say I've already got those bases covered!

That being said, keeping my options open is never a bad thing. I've got an assessment today for support with my mental health, so that should help too. All in all, we're going all forward. And now that I'm starting to get back into Microsoft tech, I'll be here more I reckon.

I think I might need to let him go. I feel confused by him. Not just by him, but like everything, so I'm not going to close any doors just yet on others.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

In other news, a classmate has finally replied to my presentation. I have given myself so much anxiety on noticing that a few have replied to others and not mine. I keep checking it so much but I should leave it alone since everyone has to reply to everyone else's presentation by the end of the day.

I can't though, I'm checking it every hour. I did reply to everyone's presentation yesterday.

Also was waiting for my TR to post (bill is due Monday so I think this is understandable, as both of my classes are so full that they have people on the wait list) so I called them and that would post tonight, thankfully.

Looks like another love TKO.

Well, I like him but I don't get his behaviors (or lack of). He might not be that into me, which is okay but don't tell me that you're available and then don't respond.

I'll rather not, so on to the next...

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Got in today and the tilt-a-whirl is in its usual busted, stuck on overdrive status. And the messed up part is even with all the calls I've made, I've only gotten through about half my work for the day.

It is what it is. I do need a better mousetrap though.

Ugh that sounds annoying to deal with.

I caught neither, but you probably knew that. I went practical with the TKO thing, since my brother and my dad are big boxing fans.
If you look up the words to both songs, you'll get why I paired them together in this context.
