Ed, hats off to you mate. It's a difficult time in life caring for a parent.

We all need our distractions in life.

I have to do a slightly different thing along the same lines tomorrow with my little one who has a specialist appointment in downtown LA, driving time is probably at least 6 times the total time in the darn office.

I have cousins in Zagreb, so it would be even cheaper, but that's just exchange, I'm talking full college education here

You can do college in Zagreb and go on exchange in Germany for half a year, that's what I mean

You can do college in Zagreb and go on exchange in Germany for half a year, that's what I mean

So the V20 is out. Looks interesting, but I wish LG had put a 3500mah battery in there. I think it'll sell some of offset the train wreck situation that was the G5. I'd still get a G5 though at the right price...

I'm still at a loss what to get for a new phone. The Z3 is starting to show it's age. I have no interest in any phone at the moment and definitely don't want to spend huge amounts either.

Sort of stuck.

If I remember, camera is helpful for you, and you don't care about audio. I won't put anything Sony in there until they actually make a good camera. If the modular concept was done better, I'd say a G5. No to HTC because while the camera is better than the Z3, I don't think it's by much.

Unfortunately none of those interest me much.... :/

I've seen the P9 and it looks nice but the rest, don't know. I didn't think the Pixel was known at this point...
