Back to the salt mines...I spent the better part of 7 hours today traveling from South Jersey to Brooklyn then him. Rest is mandatory.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So the last time I was down the NJ coast, the regulars saw me shared this picture of the same aisle in Walmart labeled "ethnic hair". Apparently, i wasn't the only one to have noticed this, as here's the updated version to the sign. I'm still trying to figure out how i feel, but I guess it's an improvement!?

No it's not an improvement over the last one. I'm pretty sure I've seen similar signs in the past but I can't remember where.

Why can't they just label it, 'Specialised Hair Products' if they feel they need to sign post the products in some way because that's more or less what they are. That way it takes any of the negative connotations out of it. Then they should ensure they label other areas of 'interest'.

Something bad happened to thr old WC App, it's all buggy. Loading html, well, as html, I'm seeing tags all over the place.

Haven't had a morning coffe in weeks. Boy it is nice. Plus I'm all alone at the pub, can't get better than that.

Finally a good, honest and conscious politician appears in Croatia - he's anti-vaxer.
Just why?

I would agree with this label.

Yes, it would be nice to just have two aisles labeled "hair products" as a way to show all hair products are as equal as all hair textures but someone would have issues with that too...

Idealistically yes but as someone that has a different hair type from the mainstream "common" types, having an indicator that I can find the products that work for my hair, is good to have because that isn't everywhere. For certain things, there are a good number of products that don't do a thing for my hair.

Isn't that statement contradictory? Good,honest and conscious =/= anti-vaxer

Well that's what I thought of him before I realised he's an anti-vaxer, I still pretty much see him in the same way, I just saw that vax thing as a minor let down.

There's nothing 'minor' about being anti-vax. It's a major concern. Anyone, regardless how nice or whatever they seem, should be considered an enemy of humanity for thinking anti-vax is a good thing.

Anti-vaxers work on the emotions of parents, specifically mothers, to prevent them from vaccinating their children. They're horrible people. Spreading lies and misinformation. They're the equivalent of holocaust deniers. They deserve no respect at all.

Weather forecast today - cloudy, high winds and possible snow. Yes, snow.

My worst nightmare in the UK. Snow for the drive home...

Hi! I'll trade your snow for my ice. May have to fire up my generator. Predicting down power lines this weekend.

We had - 15 yesterday (today is only - 6C) and tomorrow we are getting snow.

I have nothing against snow or anything to do with. I'm perfectly fine driving in it and all that.

My issue is that the UK is simply not set up to deal with snow. So when it comes it's a major mess.

Think of Florida getting snow or something like that.
