If you get the chance drop by when it's dark to get some great reflective shots in the fountains of the National Gallery.

The fountains have lights in them that produce different colours as well. I think that's still going.

It's also a lot more quiet, though it is Friday.

Aw we had an annual meeting yesterday and I had no time to eat lunch because my coworker asked me to help her. I got to my office this morning to see that she gave me a gift card as a way of saying thanks! So sweet of her, I thanked her.

Also, currently reading my old journal entries (I scanned them and they are in the cloud) and whoa to some of the good and bad things I wrote about. It's always interesting to read back since it's so easy to forget what you experienced and went through sometimes.

I forgot the feelings I had during that time I was recovering from being sick and in the hospital like 5 years ago or so.

Edit: Some entries of my elementary journal are hilarious though!

UI needs work. There are too many elements not properly upscaled to fit the larger screen size. And using a zoom feature is a cop out, IMO.

Anyways, millions don't agree with me - including Apple engineers. I doubt this will be addressed with the next wave of devices this year either.

UI also feels...cluttered. Having used an iPhone 4 as my last device prior, it took me all of 5 minutes to remember my gripes with the UI and to see that most of them have not been addressed.

Don't get me started on how is does notifications and widgets.

It is what it is. For what they want me to use it to do at work, it'll be exceptional.

My legs are tired from all the walking and sightseeing today.
Went to the British Museum, National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery.
Had dinner at a Thai place and just got back. Made reservations for dinner tomorrow night at a place recommended by N_LaRUE.
