This is a WP forum, but I am wondering how many people are platform neutral or close to it?

For me, I am currently using a Chinese OEM Android tablet (Pipo M6) as something to try and play with, a Nokia Lumia 920 as my daily driver, uses Windows at work and home. Have to admit as being a Nokia ****** though, so when Nokia makes one of those tablets often touted, I will jump on it straight.

Not an Apple fan at all since iPod days, so I am not exactly neutral. However, Jay from My Nokia Blog uses Macs and iPad, so wondering just how many people are platform neutral.

I think you're confusing "platform neutral" with common sense and being open-minded. My phone is a Lumia (this week), my laptop is a Win7 machine and my desktop at home is a Mac. If and when Ubuntu comes to market, I'll probably be all over it since I miss webOS so much and it's probably the closest to it. I think "fanboyism" is insane because it limits your choices. I'm always evangelizing the Prophet Marley's teachings - "Free your mind and the rest will follow".

I don't own a tablet, and I'm currently using only one smartphone. However, I run both Windows 8 and Linux Mint 15 on my PCs.

That might surprise people who know my critical view regarding the ecosystem, but personally I'm really only using Windows Phone and Windows.

However this might change in the near future, I'm thinking about buying a Macbook Pro for professional reasons, and a tablet with either Android or iOS.

Hmmm...

Phone - L920 (WP8)
Tablet - Pipo M6 3G (Android)
Netbook - Win7
Desktop - Win7
Games Console - PS3 (and going PS4)
Email - outlook.com/hotmail.com

Just hoping that Nokia or Asus makes a good W8 table that doesn't cost too much to own.

Phone - N/A yet, used to have an HTC Aria (Android 4.0-4.2), Palm Treo Pro (WM 6.1-.5), Palm Pre 2 (webOS 2.x), and some non-phones. (Lots of Palm PDAs, iPod touch 4 (iOS 4-6))
Tablet - none - thinking of going RT tablet + desktop
Laptop - Windows 8 (probably going to downgrade to 7 for compatibility reasons) / Ubuntu 13.04
Desktop - none as of now
no recent game consoles
And i'm awkwardly using both Google and Outlook.com

Phone - Lumia 521 WP8
PDA - Palm TX PalmOS 5.4.9
Tablet - Lenovo X61 Windows 7 Ultimate
Laptop - Gateway 17" Windows 7 Pro
Desktop - Mac OSX 10.6.8
Work - Lenovo Laptop Windows 8
Gaming System - What's that?
Gmail, Google Cal & Contacts through EAS

Kind of a weird mix but obviously Windows-centric. May go webOS again on phone as well as a TouchPad to replace the PDA only because the ability to send & receive calls and texts through the TP. Have no room in my busy days for a convoluted Android mess or iDevices that don't play nice with other equipment.

Okay I don't feel so bad now. We use iOS (6), Android (3), Win8 (1), Win7 (2), Win2000 (1), Mac-2 (book and desk), Ubuntu (1) and Linux (2). As soon as the Ativ S Neo is out, I will add 2 WP8 devices. The wife and I are both engineers, so we love our tech.

Phone: Lumia 810 (daily driver), HTC 8X (repair project)
Tablet: HP Touchpad, dual boot webOS and Jellybean 4.1.2
Project phone: Galaxy Nexus
PC: Windows XP
Doorstop: iPod Touch (this is for laughs, as I don't own an iDevice anymore)

I like trying stuff but my heartthrobs are webOS and WP, with Android a distant 3rd place.

Not sure if you'd say I'm platform neutral, or just an addict. I currently use a Lumia 1020 as my daily driver. I also have and use:

Galaxy Note 2
iPad (3rd Gen)
iPod Classic (car MP3 player)
Surface RT (overpriced Kindle reader)
Surface Pro (daily PC for work, with monitor and keyboard for office use)
15" Retina Macbook Pro (bootcamped for gaming)
Homebuilt Win7 PC (Home Beast)

Those are just the ones that still see daily/weekly use. I won't get into my drawer full of old tech. Yeah...I'm not well.

Mobile = L920
Tablet = Nexus 7
Music = Nano 5th Gen

Not a fan boy of any but I definitely do prefer Microsoft/Apple products over Android (tablet was a gift, originally wanted a Surface Pro but too expensive).
