Looks so good!
Yum!

Had Salmon Miso at California Fats sometime back.
Never had it prior...now a favorite.

We're going to Fats tomorrow and Salmon Miso is on the want list...

Talking about fish, salmon has always been my favorite fish, especially sockeye salmon, followed closely by trout, and it needs to be fresh. If you cook a fresh trout and a frozen trout at the same time, you'll taste the difference. A fresh trout is so much lighter and better tasting.

Many years ago, I went trout fishing with a guy that knew everything about trout fishing, and he taught me a lot about fishing for trout. In fact, we use to go up to the Root River in Minnesota every April to go trout fishing on the day when the trout season opened. All that he taught me about trout fishing really paid off when my wife and I went to Yellowstone Park. I went fishing on the Shoshone River and I was pulling out 18" Rainbow and Brown trout, and everyone around me wanted to know how I was doing it.

I won't take full credit...I did the fish, the mushrooms and the peppers; the GF prepared the rest.

I have a few food pics to post still. I haven't taken pictures of everything.
That would have been difficult.

Hurry up... ;)

We're stepping out tonite to a popular Asian bistro here.
I'm hoping I can get a few pics of the fare.

(OT)
The wife and her brother always scowl at me when I try to take pics of the table.
A while ago at another place we frequent some folks noticed me doing it.
They said they'd never thought taking pics and whipped out their phones and snapped a few.

Carry on...
