Been to a vacation lately, or visited your dream destination. This thread is to post your pictures adn videos about your travel.

About me: This idea came to me after going through my huge albums of places i have been. My father being an Para-Military personnel keeps getting posted every 2-3 years, and after serving almost 30 years in service we together have been to length and breadths of India and i wanted to share the beauty that i have captured on my travels.

To begin the this great thread, here are a few picture of my latest visit to Kasol, Himachal Pradesh situated on the foothils of The Great Himalayas. The hill station was truly a heaven , lets go through :)

Note: None of the photos have been altered with , nor edited to add special effects. All pics are taken in the natural setting from my lumia 730.

Interesting! I was in India in May 2016. Here are a few pictures I took. I was mostly near Kochi, but we were up in the mountains as well. These pictures are all unedited and taken with stock default settings, exactly as they came from the phone.

My visit to Shillong and Meghalaya, in the year 2013. We started our journey to Shillong from Guwahati with the blessings of kamakhya devi temple . the ride took us 4 hours to reach shillong from guwahati then further 3 hours to meghalaya with multiple stops in between to capture the beauty of the place. The clouds where right over our heads and an air so fresh it was nothing less than heaven.
There were lots of places to visit, like the elephant falls, there sister waterfalls. Don Bosco museum and many other local attractions.

i dont know why but i am unable to upload pics over 4mb in size which leaves me to upload just a few here. anyone has a solution to why this is happening do let me know. :)
The pictures were captured with sony Cybershot and also a few by my lumia 520. you will find out which is from which by the picture quality. Enjoy.

i had visited khajuraho and panna national park , last year in august. Famous for its temples and unmatched skill of architecture, were built BY chandela dynasty dedicated to the common views of Hinduism and jainism. There are 20 temples altogether and it is a UNESCO world heritage site.

The walls of the temple features a variety of art work on them of which is sexual or erotic art outside and inside the temples, The vast majority of arts depict various aspects the everyday life, mythical stories as well as symbolic display of various secular and spiritual values important in Hindu tradition.

So lets begin :)
