Just a tool.
This one is for opening bottles and cutting food mostly.
The one I've had for years is made by Case.

It's a small house so I probably don't need it but I had Christmas cash plus Best Buy has a one day sale for $60 so I only paid $9 for it.

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Wireless Optical Mouse

Okay, I didn't just buy this mouse. I've had it for a few years now and I was never a big fan of it. It's good but I've always felt I could do better. In fact, I've tried multiple Bluetooth mice and yet I keep coming back to the Sculpt Comfort. The touch sensitive strip - while still not preferable over back/forward buttons - still works well. The strip and middle mouse button can be customized using the Mouse and Keyboard center software. You can even program keyboard shortcuts in there. Finally, the ergonomics are good as it fits comfortably in my palm. Truly a mouse that I've perhaps underrated for many a year.

Got this Charge2...

I had to return the Garmin Vivosmart3 cos I couldn't get it to pair with my 950XL, the Vivo 5s or Surface3.. My wife really like the slimness and feel of that.
Hope this Charge2 works out ok. The sleep tracker and notification is nice ..

Insignia voice activated speaker with Google Assistant

Okay, I didn't actually buy this either. Best Buy had a promotional deal were you got the speaker for free if you bought a Keurig. (Also, I bought a Keurig lol)

I have it set up in the bedroom. Naturally, I connected it with my Hue lights since the Echo is in the living room. Now I can control my lights using either the Echo, Insignia speaker, Cortana on my phone (and PC), and the Fire TV remote. Nice!

Excellent battery life ... easily lasting all day+

Camera is good --- outstanding stabilization when shooting video in 1080/30FPS

Great one-handed usage!

Now awaiting the XA1 Ultra ... pondering getting Pixel 2 (not XL)

My Surface 3 has again shat its video drivers. It's a semi-common problem with no real fix so this Chromebook will have to do while I explore options for the Surface. I've had a R13 model for about a year and its been great but too big for my purpose.

If I can get past this BitLocker issue and wipe the drive I'm going to try loading a 32 bit version of W10 Pro on the Surface since the drivers are a newer build and hopefully takes care of the problem once and for all.

I'm having issues with my wife's Surface 3 too, esp viewing sites with video. The speakers would suddenly blast out white noise.. loudly. There is no way to mute it.

It has happened and I did fix it. If only I can recall what steps I took.

Here's a very late post, acquired this last August, a Samsung KS7000 which is the same as the US KS8000

The feet are so wide apart it could not fit on my old table.

Needed to find a table asap so I got a Bello CW343

I finally broke down and bought a new phone last week. LG G6 from Amazon. It checks a lot of boxes of things that I wanted in a phone, a bunch of the best features of my 950. Qi charging, headphone jack, microSD card support.

It's performs pretty nicely and the battery life seems decent. I'm a little underwhelmed with the camera, but I haven't really tried to take any decent photos with it yet.

If you've got Amazon Prime, it's a decent deal for the phone, and it's the unlocked US997 model of the phone, so there's no crapware from the carrier, only all of the Amazon apps, which are less obtrusive, IMO.
