    Am I the only person that sees the Echo Show as a less capable tablet?

    I never really saw the appeal of the Echo in the first place, but adding a screen seems to make it mirror a lot of functions of a tablet/phone.

    That said, I expect it to sell well. Is it just a novelty thing?

    I can see it more as a novelty thing. The screen element is interesting though.

    I don't think many people will go and try it out, I see it as something that people who already own Echo might be open to trying.
