But the current Start menu is familiar for Windows 7 users, at least shutdown options, compared to Windows 8 which has rearranged it to Settings charm and forced corners, which is annoying.

Ha, I recall that after Windows 8 rolled out, many of our customers asked us how to shut down or restart their computer. It was difficult to find. I heard that Microsoft purposely obscured this because they said that rebooting wouldn't be necessary, although I have no clue if that is actually true.

How would you think of hiding BASIC functions under a charm? This is a bad idea.
It wasn’t my idea to get rid of hardware buttons. You gotta hide basic things somewhere for that clean look.

And then Nadella happened. I know hindsight is 20/20 and there’s no denying he’s made Wall Street a fortune and put Microsoft in the rarefied air of Apple and Amazon as far as market valuation is concerned but he sure did f*** up a good product. “If nobody makes them, we will!” Yeah, check’s in the mail too.

Windows small business server. With the release of Windows Server 2012, Microsoft announced it would no longer release a small business version of the OS. The company is encouraging small business owners to take their needs to Microsoft's hosted cloud solutions instead. So you can either move to Azure or deploy latest Server 2019, Exchange Server and Sharepoint.
