I just got a One Plus 5T to replace my 950 xl. So far I am very happy with the it. I have pretty much Microsofted the device with one exception. Phone and SMS can't read Outlook Contacts.

I imported contacts for now, but this leaves me with having to update in two places. Has anyone found a Phone/SMS app that supports Outlook contacts, or a contact manager that can keep them in sync?

Did you enable permissions for Contacts for the Outlook app? Try that.

As for your other question, it's easier to get an app that already supports contacts and such.

I have two accounts, one is Outlook.com and one is Exchange. I found the check box in the settings for the Outlook.com account that let's you sync contacts under settings > account > sync contacts. It wasn't working until I did a reset.

The Exchange account did not have this option. The FAQ for the Outlook app stated this feature was temporarily deprecated for Exchange and will be returned in a future release. As a work around I added the account to the stock Gmail app and set it to only sync contacts.

I have everything I need, but not the optimal configuration.
