I believe Zac or someone did a report on windows 10 home having the family calendar feature and all its glory.

Now Google has the Home Hub and I am just like the consumer side of MS really is disconnected.

Sorry rant over just picked up a couple more invokes and I'm like wth.

Because the consumer side of Microsoft isn't as big, and truly has never been as big, as we think it to be.

I think MS' approach to enterprise demonstrates that they're targeting enterprise, where the rest of the big tech industry targets on consumers.

It's hard to say that MS has decided on this strategy because their competition isn't there, and they can barricade their own sizeable bit of the market, or they're just set in their ways and resistant to change. Certainly their mobile failure is because the whole mobile market has been dictated by consumers and not enterprise.
