Once again Microsoft takes something unique to windows phones and makes it available for other platforms.

SkyDrive For iPhone - Business Insider

One of the things keeping me in the windows phone ecosystem was the simplicity of backing up my camera roll to SkyDrive. Now ios users get that too.

haven't they have an iOS client out for a while?
Personally I like MS doing this since it can be more flexible. Nice to see them playing relatively nice with other platforms. UNLIKE A CERTAIN THING THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED.

Besides, iOS has its own iCloud Camera Roll thing.

yes, they had the client out for a while but it never was able to automatically back up your photos before. You had to have had a windows phone to do it automatically.

Its just sad when an app for a different platform works better than the native app on your windows phone(like how you can save email attachments directly to SkyDrive on ios, can't do that on windows phone).
