Why are photos showing up blank on my phone?

photos showing up blank on phone

I took a bunch of pictures last week that suddenly are showing as just blank white boxes in my Photos; there is a white box, and when I access them via OneDrive there's a time stamp, but the image is blanked out. There's a block of them within a certain time period, but there's no problem with any of the others I took that day. Does anyone know what happened and/or a way to bring those back?
