UPDATE for files in a folder is not inactive.
The other options for the folder work Share, Download, Add to my OneDrive, New .. are available but UPDATE does not respond matter how long you wait or how many times you click on the UPDATE tab.
**** I need to update files to this OneDrive that is held on an account that is different than the account that I logged in on. Update is required because I need to change the contents of the file and keep the URL that is distributed to users to view the contents of the file to be updated. ***
Two months ago, I had to scramble to replace short URL's now this month its a work around for UPDATE. TOO MUCH.
