Onedrive sync on dualboot PC not working on Win7, after Win10 April update

My desktop PC is a dual boot, with 3 partitions. A Win7 one, a Win10 one, and a separate HDD for the documents partition. Both Win7 and Win10 have sync set up for my 2 OneDrive accounts.

I hadn’t used Win10 in ages, and decide to do use it again. It still needed the April 2018 update, which failed a couple of times and rolled back, before eventually succeeding.

Since then, Win10 accesses OneDrive just fine, and syncs fine. Win 7 though, allows me access to the partition where the OneDrive folders are, but when I try to open the either of the OneDrive folder, I get a message saying “Location is not available”, followed by the filepath of the folder and “The file cannot be accessed by the system”.

Which I look at the folder properties, it shows 0 bytes.

I thought maybe the update introduced some sort of encryption, or somehow changed the ownership of the folder, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Has anyone had this happen before?
