For the last couple years I've had a lot of grief with OneDrive automatically trying to mirror my local OneDrive folder (the way the OneDrive app apparently views mirroring). I am using my local drive as my primary storage. Is there a way to make my OneDrive Cloud storage treat my local OneDrive directory as the master copy? I don't want it to ever download files to my local disk in its attempt to maintain mirroring. When I delete something locally, I want it to be deleted in the cloud, not re-downloaded. I've hunting around the options in the local app many times and never found any evidence this could be done.

I don't think it's possible as OneDrive is not designed to work that way.
