Touchscreen Replacement

Has anyone done a touchscreen replacement on this tab?

I bought one for my daughter, that had a very slight crack in the screen. That crack is very livable, but it seems have killed touch, which is not.

I have seen conflicting info online relative to whether the screen is glue around the edges only, or the whole touchscreen is glued to the LCD.

So - has anyone done this? Is it glued to the whole LCD, or just around the edge?

The pro has the touch screen glued on the LCD.
For the non pro 2013 version only the borders are glued and for the non pro version of 2014 also the digitizer is glued totally to the LCD.

Thanks Harrie - was afraid of that. Guess this one is a parts tablet, and I'll have to find another Win 8.1 cheapo.
