What is the average battery life on a Dell XPS 13 Touch Version?

Hello Everyone,

I just purchased the DELL XPS 13 TOUCH VERSION WITH 258GB and 8 GBRAM, and I am getting about 5.5 hours of battery life. Is that normal? I keep seeing 7-8 hours as the average.

Also, I purchased the unit from the Microsoft store and there was no "Intel Inside" sticker now a Windows 10 sticker on the unit. Could they have sold me a used/returned item?

I get around 5-6 hours with my 9350 touch version i7/256 of use doing normal tasks; watching YouTube, Twitter, Chrome with multiple tabs, email, etc... So yes 5.5 hours is normal. This is also why I grab my Surface Book more to use daily. I get around 10 hours with that. I know if you get the 1080p version of the XPS 13 its good for about 9-10 hours as well.

You guys need to update the bios to 1.1.7
I have the touch and I'm getting 9-11hrs

I am using the latest bios and still only get around 5-6 hours of use on it.
