So I've had this notebook for about a month now and everything has been smooth until I received an update for the Killer Wireless-n/a/ac 1535 wireless network adapter which seemed to stop it from working. There is now no setting for WiFi in the windows settings and it shows an Ethernet icon with no internet even though there is no Ethernet connected.

When troubleshooting hardware it tells me to restart, but once I have done that and troubleshoot again it tells me the same thing.

The adapter is there because it is shown in the device manager as 'working properly' even though it can't be used.

I've tried updating all the drivers many times manually through the dell website and going back to a restore points but neither seem to work.

The last thing I haven't tried is factory resetting, which I will be doing later this week.

Here is the one I have - Dell
