Hi, I have purchased 4 XPS 15 9560 (big battery, max spec). EXCELLENT MACHINES! Though wish the camera was in a better position. The SSD is a 1 TB PCIe. I would like to upgrade the SSDs from 1 to 2 TB SSD PCIe. Does anyone know if this would work for certain? I am thinking of the 2 TB PCIe Samsung PRO device. Possible problems: Motherboard, BIOS, etc..

As long as they’re of the same standard then I see no reason for it not to work.

The only time I’d anticipate trouble is upgrading a Retina MacBook since they’re using some proprietary SSD thats relatively pricey.

Thanks for your answer. Note that I am looking for a PCIe 2TB SSD. Do you know which Crucial 2TB Pcie (M.2) is suitable? I can't seem to find such a device from Crucial.
(Currently I have installed is: Dell 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe 2280 SSD drive, Class 40) - NOT in the SATA slot)
