Dell G3 USB-PD Charging?

I'm not familiar with that model, BUT my MSI laptop has a USB C port that does NOT charge. You have to use the power cord that came with the computer. The USB C port on mine is for plugging in USB C peripherals, or data transfer, or connection to an external monitor.

IF your laptop came with a separate power cord then probably the USB C port won't charge.
