Will resetting phone delete all game progress?

As the title mentioned will resetting the phone delete all game progress and undo all achievements etc? Also will it cause chats on whatsapp to be deleted? Finally after resetting the phone will you automatically get the latest OS update (7740) the first time u on it or do u have to connect to zune to update? Thanks!

Yes resetting the phone will remove all this data. At this time there is no way to back up these types of items so a factory reset will wipe this out. You can power off then back on the phone (soft reset) this will fix most issues you won't lose any data.

To update a device you have to plug in to Zune. If you have already updated your phone a hard reset won't remove the update.

Achievements are associated with your live ID any you have gotten will remain but game play progress saved on the device will be lost.
