can't find a certain data access setting for apps

In an idle moment yesterday I was playing with my WP 7.5 Nokia Lumia 710, and I came across a setting which had something to do with allowing/not allowing apps to access data in the background. It had settings for apps on the phone, such as Yelp, MSN Money. I thought it was about whether your tiles updated when you weren't in the apps themselves.

The thing is that now I can't find that setting any more! I thought it was in "Cellular Data" but it doesn't seem to be. I've hunted all over the phone, but just can't find it again. And now the MSN Money app won't run, I think because of me changing that setting.

Does anyone know which settings I'm talking about, and how to find them?

Should be under Settings then swipe left one time to applications you should see background tasks.

That did it--thanks very much. I'm still getting used to the "tabbed" interface.

BTW it turns out that the MSN Money stocks app won't start unless it has "background tasks" enabled. Once I turned that switch, the application worked again.
