    AT&T prepares internal systems for shared data, launch date still TBD -- Engadget

    Man, this would really help out the wallet a bit. Right now, my wife avgs 600MB and I avg 800MB of data per month (1.4GB total data). Paying $25 x 2 = $50 for 2GB x 2 = 4GB total data. That's about 2.6.GB of unused data. I'd be happy with something like $30 for 3GB of shared data plan.

    My wife is still on T-Mobile. I'll switch her back to AT&T when this happens.

    I use about 750MB a month and she uses less than 500MB a month.

    Even at $40/3GB shared, they'll get me switch my plan. :)

    Sheeeeesh! Reading the comments in the article, I don't understand why people are complaining? They haven't even announced the plans yet. If anything, it will definitely save some people money. If it doesn't, then just don't switch and keep your current plan. The internet should be renamed trollnet.

    I'd go with the 3GB for $40 also. 3GB will cover our data usage with plenty to spare.

    The comments are pretty ridiculous. That one guy saying it will only cost you more and make profits for AT&T.It will save me money.
