help with videos not playing

Hello I am a newer WP user and have a Nokia Lumia 900...love the phone. The only issue I have is that I am having trouble with videos playing. I go to YouTube.com on my browser and click on a video and it doesn't play. Do I need to download something special I border to get these videos to play??? It happens with videos on other websites too. Thanks in advance

I think you might need to download the Youtube app from Microsoft. That has the the necessary codecs I guess for playback from sites

The Microsoft YouTube only plays embedded videos in the older YouTube format,not in the new html5 format. That being said I rarely encounter a problem playing videos from desktop YouTube, make sure html5 video is enabled under YouTube account settings.
