I'm considering buying a WP device. I've read that you need a Windows Live ID to downloads apps. I've also read that all contacts etc. are automatically backed up to live.com.
I really don't want any of my personal data (contacts, calendar, call history, really anything) to be uploaded to Google, Microsoft, Apple or some other company.
Can I fully use a Windows phone with apps, contacts, calendar etc. and still prevent the phone from uploading any personal data to live.com?
