Windows Mobile had Opera. The only reason it's not available for Windows Phone is Microsoft's fault.

Seriously, I would not have a problem with getting IE10 on 7.8, but I'm failing to see what the big advantage would be since most improvements are under the hood... I've been trying IE10 on Windows 8, and I would agree that it is seriously awesome. I swear people hate IE just for the sake of it. IE is great. I'm just failing to see why is one of the most wanted features for 7.8. Could anyone explain?

it's not microsoft's fault, Opera is allowed to make a browser for WP but they do not because they will have to rewrite the browser in .NET which they do not want to do for such a small audience compared to iOS etc.

I already voted. It actually my top desired feature due to the improved HTML5 support. I have quite a few sites that does now work with My Lumia.
