I have a Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows Phone 7.5. Stupidly I have accidentally managed to delete my 'linked inbox' tile while trying to sort out a problem with the updating of one of the email accounts (I had unlinked them), and cannot seem to restore access to any of these accounts, They are are still evidently stored somewhere, but where? And how can I access them?

have you checked settings->email accounts and see if they are there? also when u said u deleted your linked inbox, is it just on the home screen or on the app list screen as well?

Thank you - unfortunately they are gone from my app list as well as the home screen. They are still somewhere on the device, because if I tried to add one of the email accounts again, I am told I cannot do so as it already exists.:-(

Did you rename the linked inbox to something else under the settings. If so it will be under that name in the app list.
The other option is to delete those email accounts under the email settings and readd them.

Thank you but no use, I'm afraid ...

I didn't rename the linked inbox - I kept the name 'linked inbox'.

Unfortunately I don't have the option to delete the email accounts - they are greyed out under the email settings.

Good news - the staff at Carphone Warehouse in Crewe have solved the problem - once the device was turned off and then on again the email accounts no longer appeared greyed out. Silly me not to have tried it myself .
