Canadian Carrier "Who gets what" thread

Basically what I've gleaned from other sites (mobilesyrup) etc:

- Rogers gets the 920 (big surprise), Ativ line and maybe the HTC 8X
- Telus gets the 820, Ativ and that maybe that's it

This is just hearsay of course - nothing really solid at this point.

Anyone else?

I'm probably getting my info from the same source as you. But what I do know is that Bell will not carry the WP8 Lumia line. I'm also assuming, since Rogers currently offers more than just the 900, that they may carry the 820 as well. Keep your eye on the Microsoft Canada WinPhone site. And wish me luck, this'll be my first foray into Windows Phone. iPhone, Android?

not sure if Rogers is going to be getting the Samsung,

Rogers and BELL are BOTH getting the 8X ,

Bell confirmed 2 new WP8 , the 8X and not sure about the second one but its NOT a NOKIA so probably Samsung, as Bell gets ALL high end Samsung phones. Rogers normally gets the Crapy Samsung phones.

Telus will probably have a HTC and NOKIA.


My prediction:

BELL: HTC 8x , Samsung Ativ S
Rogers: HTC 8X , Nokia 920 ( Rogers has exclusive 8X 8G , not 16G)
Tellus: Nokia 820 , HTC 8s , HTC 8X

Oh man I hope you're right. I'd be just as happy with an 8X as I would a 920.
