So far, ALL of the bloatware on WP7 has been easily removeable. And it does get removed, not just hidden from view as on some Android phones.
I can honestly say that I was able to remove every bit of AT&T bloatware (except my AT&T, wanted a easy way to access my account).
The only bad thing about potential bloatware is if it could slow down updates, I guess.
You'll be able to pull updates directly from Microsoft on WP8.
Like everyone said, the only "bloatware" type allowed on WP are apps that can be easily wiped out of the phone.
The only thing I know that MS discussed is that the 7.8 update will bypass the carriers and can be downloaded directly through them. That's it. I assume any talk about MS bypassing carriers for every update for everyone is a gross misinterpretation of what they are doing with 7.8.EDIT: Nope, I think I'm wrong!
I don't know if that is totally true. I think when they've talked about it they've been pretty vague about the exact details, and we've kinda hoped that is what will happen. Yes, they have come out and said updates are coming OTA. I'm still very, very skeptical that MS will simply be able to bypass the carriers. So far only Apple has had that clout. Even Google doesn't have that kind of power with Verizon.... and Google pretty much made Verizon the smartphone powerhouse it now is.
AT&T has preloaded apps on the phone.Does MS limit or block addition of Carrier BLOATWARE addons before release of phones?
If carrier addons are included with the upcoming release of WP8, are they removable???

I imagine that the "enthusiast program" will bypass the carriers, but we have no details on that - including who can get in :/
