recently i saw a lumia 900. oh boy, was it gorgeous...but i think there is a fundamental flaw in the way the phone works.

i pinned a contact on the home screen for easy dialing. but when i tapped the contact it took me inside the contact and didn't dial the number stored under that contact. Is there any setting to change the behavior? If I can't dial the number straight away (just like speed dialing in the symbian phones) what use is it to place the contact on the home screen. Although i agree that going inside the contact and then dialing will take a few taps and swipes less than the normal route but it would be much better if the user was given the option to dial the number straight away. :dry

Yeh i dont believe what you're looking for is an option. When you pin a person microsoft is thinking either "Hey this is my wife" or "Hey, im stalking the **** out of this person" and gives you a quick way to view info about that person as well as the latest in their news feed.
