Something which erks me about windows phone is the lack of PC capability, hence I am not getting one of the latest devices.
I was an early adopter of WP and love the 'smartphone' capability however I am beginning to demand more flexibility with my device. I've been forced to upgrade to a SGS3 because of the USB OTG support and reasonable number of USB and bluetooth drivers supported (e.g. keyboard, mouse support). Furthermore, I find the Android MS Office apps to have more functionality than Windows Phone's.
Now that WP8 and Windows RT are on the same kernal (NT) I see no reason why the two OS' can't be integrated together. The user should be able to switch between WP8 and RT at the press of a tile. This would enable windows smartphones to have the best USB driver support and access to the full blown microsoft office. Thus creating a PC / Phone.
Around 5inches would be the desired screen size.
Has anyone else got similar ideas? Maybe WP8 should be a 'skin' for RT? Anyway I'd be interested to know your thoughts.
