Many of you probably already know this, but as I am new to WP8, I found this yesterday and thought I would share it in case others are looking for something to keep their Outlook calendar and contacts in synch.
Sync your Outlook contacts to Windows Phone
If you watch the video at that location, it shows you how to setup the hotmail connector to keep your calendar and contacts synched no matter what Windows device you use to make changes.
The instructions did leave out a couple of points. First of all, after you install the connector and open Outlook for the first time, you will get a prompt asking if you want to add a hotmail account now, say yes. Enter your windows live ID information. Just saves some steps.
Second, after you first copy everything over, make sure you leave Outlook open for a while. The initial synch can take some time if you have a lot of contacts like I do.
