Automatic clock setting and timezones

I had this problem with my Lumia 800 (now have an 8X).

Whenever I arrive back in the UK from a trip abroad, the phone doesn't update the time/timezone automatically. It sticks with whatever timezone I was in, unless I set the timezone manually.

I don't recall having this problem when I had a Samsung Galaxy SII (same sim and network (Vodafone)).

My wife's iphone updates immediately, of course, which just makes Windows Phone look broken.

Has anyone else had problems with their phone detecting the correct time and timezone?

I had the same on my htc. In the end, I had to set the time and date manually.
