Those who have tried both HTC 8X and Lumia 920: how's the audio?

I doubt there are many people who switched from the Lumia 920 to the HTC 8X but there will probably be more who switched the other way around. For those who have tried both, tell us about the differences in audio. What's your opinion? How huge is the difference in quality?

Loving the sound from my Nokia 920 with the Nokia headphones from Monster. Just got my girlfriend the HTC 8x to replace her iPhone 4s, and will be testing out the Beats Audio on that later tonight and will report back. Like the fact that we now have the EQ on the Lumia 920. Definitely sounds good, especially when plugged into my car through one of the old cassette tape adapters.

I can't speak for the 920 but I can say that the 8X has significantly better audio quality than the 810 due to the dedicated amplifier, the 810 and I presume the 920 as well just use the integrated audio board on the S4.

I had 8X for two days and my Lumia 920 since mid of November. I find that 8X sounds little louder and fuller if we talk about speaker. As for in-call volume loudness and quality - its about the same for me. As for sound in headphones - I prefer 8X, but the difference isn't much at all. Tried on my Sennheiser IE-80 and Sony XBA-4 headphones.

Nokia is good too, but I bought my gf a 8x and the beats thing complemented with some good headphones is no game. Its great for a phone, incall I'd say the same, but I think my Lumia 920 is loader out the main speakergrill. Also I love the equalizer option! I'd buy the 8x cause it outsexies the Lumia 920. Not out produce it in sounds or loudness... But beats is awesome with headphones

If you're using cheap earbuds, you won't notice a difference, but on conference calls through the loudspeaker, or good headphones, the 8X sounds better (and certainly gets louder).
