Seriously though, the SD card has big appeal to me. I have only had Windows based smart phones with my favorite being the SCH-i760. I currently have a Trophy and the 822 appeals to me though I haven't seen it in person. The white one doesn't look hideous to me at all (like most are saying about all 810 variations.) Paying full price? I'm generally patient but I don't think I can wait nearly two years to have 50 gigs of music at all times. Temptation is far too great and I will find myself at a Verizon store by March (if I know myself.)

The 822 is entirely mediocre. I wouldn't pay more than $300 for it (and I'm sure you can pick up a lightly-used example on the forums here, or on e-Bay, for around that or less).

Lol the 920 isn't much if an upgrade either. Only if you really want a better camera.

The 920 is a much better phone, certainly more than $100 better (which is the price delta between the two).

If you're going to buy a new phone, full price, I think the 8X makes more sense than the 822. The Verge agrees.
