HTC surround 7, when the heck is it getting 7.8

Starting to get anxious about this 7.8 update, does anybody know if the HTC surround is actually getting it? my phone says its running 7.10 but I don't have the new interface look or anything. Feeling cheated

I have the HTC Titan, I also have v7.1 wp 7.5. Neither Nokia, Samsung or HTC phones have officially received 7.8. They are either ROMs or preproduction update releases. Official update is quoted to release "early 2013". If you can't wait, see xda developers website and see if a ROM has been released for your handset, but no one has official update. Im hoping January 2013 will be good news for us

No word yet on the Surround getting 7.8. So far only Samsung has publicly stated that all their 7.5 handsets will receive 7.8 And while Nokia hasn't made any public announcement, Nokia's device support is so rock solid that it's unlikely they're going to leave any of their 7.5 devices on 7.8. The biggest question mark is HTC. HTC may not deem it worth their time since the Surround was never a huge seller. As for when, Microsoft states early 2013 for the official 7.8 rollout.
