Cant Sign Into Office 365

Just got a new Windows Phone, and I am having the exact problem that is described in this thread: http://forums.windowscentral.com/wi...e-365-because-e-mail-account-already-use.html
Except! I am paying for Office 365, and it is attached to my Microsoft account (Wingdom@gmail.com). I sign in with my Microsoft account on Office - Office.com to access everything online. I am signed into it as a Microsoft account on my phone, and I am also syncing Gmail, the same email address. When I click Office 365 in the office app, then hit setup, I add an Outlook (outlook.com, exchange, office 365) account and it says "There's already an account on this phone using Wingdom@gmail.com, called Gmail". If I sign out of Gmail, it just refuses to connect at all.
I do not have an Outlook.com email address, and I paid for Office 365 using my Microsoft account (Wingdom@gmail.com). Any ideas on a solution?
