8862 Update for EE Lumia 610 now available via Zune

Morning Guys,

I connected my 610 to Zune this morning, not holding out much hope for an update, but was pleasantly surprised to get the 8862 software version.

FYI my handset is EE UK branded / locked.

Not had any time to find changes yet

Is 8862 theOS 7.8 update?

8858 was the original 7.8 update. 8862 is the latest updates to that.

I originally updated my handset to 8858 via NCS ( the 8858 firmware update is no longer available via the Nokia servers ) Interestingly, my phone now reports:

Firmware revision number 1066.0000.8858.12470
OS Version 7.10.8862.144

I just connected my 610 (on Orange UK) to zune, it says I am up to date on version 7.1 (8779)
