Delayed download after purchase

I am not sure how to name the title to reflect my query so excuse me if it is misleading...

I am just wondering if I purchase/install an app when it is free/cheaper (you know during promotional or sale) from my PC and for some reason it couldn't be installed on my phone right away, will I be able to install it say after a couple of days (assuming that the promotion is over)?

I am kinda leaning towards it being possible since I have technically bought it, but it never hurts to be sure. Also will I be able to re-install it after I had reset my phone (again assuming that the promotion/sale is long gone)?

This would be very handy when I can't download massive apps over 3G.

My understanding is that whatever you purchase will be on your purchase history list on windowsphone.com
There are cases where apps are removed from the marketplace which may or may not affect your ability to reinstall them.
So yes, in most cases, whatever you buy while on your PC will be available to install at a later date.
